Four steps between your
piece and your wall.
The materials you choose are imperative to the overall design and preservation of your artwork. Here is how we get there together.
Step 01
Consult
Bring the piece in. We look at it in daylight, talk through where it will hang, and listen before we suggest anything. Consultations are free.
Step 02
Design
Mouldings and mats are laid directly against your work so you see the real combination — not a swatch on a screen. We agree on glazing and mounting here.
Step 03
Craft
Cut, joined, matted and fitted in our own workshop. Archival materials throughout, and nothing about your piece is permanently altered.
Step 04
Install
Collect it finished and ready to hang, with the right hardware for your wall. For larger groupings, our design studio will set it out for you.

Most custom framing orders are ready in about two to three weeks. Timing depends on the mouldings and glazing selected and whether any conservation work is needed. If you have a deadline, tell us when you drop the piece off and we will confirm what is achievable.
Conservation glass filters out roughly 99% of ultraviolet light, which is the main cause of fading and yellowing in paper, textiles and photographs. Regular glass offers no meaningful UV protection. For anything original, signed, irreplaceable or displayed in daylight, conservation glazing is worth the difference.
No. Consultations are free and walk-ins are welcome during opening hours — Tuesday to Friday 10:30 to 6:00 and Saturday 10:30 to 4:00. Simply bring your piece in and a designer will work through options with you at the counter.
Yes. Shadow boxes let us mount jerseys, medals, christening gowns, instruments, diplomas and other three-dimensional keepsakes. Objects are stitched or supported rather than glued, so nothing is permanently altered.
Four things: the size of the piece, the moulding you choose, the glazing, and the matting and mounting work involved. Our Value Package uses in-stock frames with conservation glass and a professional fit at 50% off, which is the most economical route without dropping to non-archival materials.
Yes. We produce an exclusive line of pre-made frames in house, built from the same mouldings and to the same standard as our custom orders. They are a good way to build a gallery wall without commissioning every piece individually.
